this year in projects to help making our communities
a better place to live in, and for us in the

We continue to look forward to the annual cleanup of the sea turtle
nesting beach located within Long Key State Park. We will be
removing debris from this beach, which is only accessible by boat
(transportation will be provided) so that Momma Turtle and her
baby hatchlings will have a safe journey on our Keys shore.
Complimentary cookout will be provided afterwards
by Friends of the Islamorada Area State Parks.
Heres what to bring: GLOVES, Sun Protection
(including hat & long sleeve shirt. Sun screen
will be provided by University of Florida Alumni Association)
& your absolutely worst shoes for wading ashore
(NO flip flops, please).
SOUND LIKE A LOT OF FUN?
It REALLY is!
And, you'll feel great about doing
something good for the turtles.
Time: 8am
